“Mankind will not have peace until it turns with trust to My mercy”

(Line drawing of Jesus of Mercy)

Jesus told St. Maria Faustina that the Blessed Sacrament is the “throne of mercy on earth,” and to daily “Adore, in the Blessed Sacrament, My Heart which is full of mercy.” “I want Adoration to take place…for the intention of imploring Mercy for the world” (Divine Mercy Diary, 300, 1485, 1572, & 1070).

Jesus in the Holy Eucharist, present – Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity – is God’s love and mercy made manifest to us now and till the end of time.

On February 22, 1931, in Poland, Jesus appeared to Sister Maria Faustina Kowalska of the Blessed Sacrament, and gave her a message of love and mercy for the world. While Sister Faustina was praying before the Most Blessed Sacrament Jesus appeared to her. Emanating from the heart of Jesus were two rays of light, one red and one white. He later revealed “These two rays issued forth from the very depths of My tender mercy when My agonized Heart was opened by a lance on the Cross” (299).

Jesus asked Saint Faustina to tell the world of His great love and mercy by spreading the Mercy of God Devotion. “My Heart overflows with great mercy for souls, and especially for poor sinners. If only they could understand that I am the best of Fathers to them and that it is for them that the Blood and Water flowed from My Heart…For them I dwell in the tabernacle as King of Mercy. I desire to bestow grace upon souls…They have time for everything, but they have no time to come to Me for graces” (367).

“Call upon my mercy on behalf of sinners; I desire their salvation. When you say this prayer, with a contrite heart and with faith on behalf of some sinner, I will give him the grace of conversion. The prayer is this: O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of mercy for us, I trust in You” (186).

Our Lord said to St. Faustina, “I am Love and Mercy itself. When a soul approaches Me with trust, I fill it with such an abundance of graces that it cannot contain them within itself, but radiates them to other souls” (1074). He asked her to have a picture of Him painted, one that would show His loving, merciful heart with rays of tenderness and healing flowing forth, with the words “Jesus I Trust in You.” Jesus said: “By means of this image I shall grant many graces to souls; it is to be a reminder of the demands of My mercy” (742). If our dear Lord will grant such phenomenal graces to us for looking upon a holy picture of Him, how much more will He bless and grace those who are devoted to spending time with Him in the Blessed Sacrament?

“When I was in church…I saw the same rays issuing from the monstrance and they spread throughout the church. This lasted all through the service. After the Benediction [the rays came forth] on both sides and returned again to the monstrance. Their appearance was bright and clear as crystal. I asked Jesus that He think fit to light the fire of His love in all souls that were cold. Beneath these rays a heart will be warmed even if it were like a block of ice;

Jesus told St. Faustina: “Today I am sending My mercy to the people of the whole world. I do not want to punish an aching mankind, but desire to heal it, pressing it to My Merciful Heart” (1588). “The greatest sinners would achieve great sanctity, if only they would trust in My mercy” (1784). “The greater the sinner, the greater the right he has to My mercy” (723).

Sister Faustina records these words as spoken to her by Our Lord: “I remind you, My daughter, that as often as you hear the clock strike the third hour (in the afternoon), immerse yourself completely in My mercy, adoring and glorifying it; invoke its omnipotence for the whole world, and particularly for poor sinners.” “Try your best to…at least step into the chapel for a moment and adore in the Most Blessed Sacrament My Heart, which is full of mercy.” “I claim veneration for My mercy from every creature” (1572).

When St. Faustina was praying before Jesus in the Holy Eucharist He showed her a vision. Each time a person entered the chapel and visited Jesus exposed in a monstrance, she saw His Divine Rays of Love and Mercy burst forth and encircle the whole world and everyone in it with graces and blessings! Through Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Jesus unleashes His rays of healing upon us, our families and the whole world! Jesus specifically requested that the Feast of Mercy be celebrated on the second Sunday of Easter. This glorious day illumines God’s great Mercy, which He manifests in the Holy Eucharist!

Jesus revealed the Chaplet of Divine Mercy to Saint Faustina and asked her to recite it daily at 3:00 p.m., the Hour of Great Mercy. “Say unceasingly the chaplet that I have taught you. Whoever will recite it will receive great mercy at the hour of death. Priests will recommend it to sinners as their last hope of salvation. Even if there were a sinner most hardened, if he were to recite this chaplet only once, he would receive grace from My infinite mercy. I desire that the whole world know My infinite mercy. I desire to grant unimaginable graces to those souls who trust in My mercy” (687).

Chaplet of Divine Mercy
(May be recited on rosary beads)
Begin with: the Our Father…Hail Mary…and Apostles’ Creed…
On the Our Father Beads say: Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.
On the Hail Mary Beads Say: For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
Conclude with: Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world (three times) (476).

“The mercy of God, hidden in the Blessed Sacrament, the voice of the Lord who speaks to us from the throne of mercy: Come to Me, all of you…Behold, for you I have established a throne of mercy on earth – the tabernacle – and from this throne I desire to enter into your heart. I am not surrounded by a retinue of guards. You can come to me at any moment, at any time; I want to speak to you and I desire to grant you grace” (Jesus, 1485).

Has there ever been a time in human history when we have needed God’s Divine Mercy, love and guidance more? Pope John Paul II said, “Anyone who prays to our Saviour [in the Blessed Sacrament] draws the whole world with him and raises it to God…Through adoration, the Christian mysteriously contributes to the radical transformation of the world” (letter to the Bishop of Liege, 1996). “Especially from the Eucharist, grace is poured forth upon us from a fountain” (Constitution of the Sacred Liturgy, 10).

“You left us Yourself in the Sacrament of the Altar, and You opened wide Your mercy to us. There is no misery that could exhaust You; You have called all to this fountain of love, to this spring of God’s compassion. Here is the tabernacle of Your mercy, here is the remedy for all our ills…

“Be adored, O God, in the work of Your mercy. Be blessed by all faithful hearts on whom Your gaze rests, In whom dwells Your immortal life…In Your inconceivable love, You allowed Your most holy side to be opened, and streams of Blood and Water gushed forth from Your Heart. Here is the living fountain of Your mercy, Here souls receive consolation and refreshment.

“In the Blessed Sacrament, You left us Your mercy; Your love deigned to arrange it so, That, going through life, suffering and toil, I might never doubt of Your goodness and mercy. For even if the whole world’s miseries weighed on my soul, We must not doubt for even a moment, But have trust in the power of God’s mercy” (St. Faustina 1747 & 1748).

(Picture of Saint Maria Faustina with Jesus of Divine Mercy)

St. Faustina you told us that your mission would continue after your death and that you would not forget us (Diary, 281, 1582). Our Lord also granted you a great privilege, telling you to “distribute graces as you will, to whom you will, and when you will” (31). Relying on this, I ask your intercession for the graces I need, especially (mention your request). Help me, above all, to trust Jesus as you did and thus to glorify His mercy every moment of my life. Amen.

St. Faustina of the Blessed Sacrament please pray that Perpetual Adoration of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist will take place in every parish throughout the world!

“What will convert America and save the world?”

(Picture of Mother Teresa)

“My answer is prayer. What we need is for every Parish to come before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament in Holy Hours of prayer,” Mother Teresa of Calcutta.

Quotes from Mother Teresa

“Perpetual adoration with exposition needs a great push.”

“Jesus has made Himself the Bread of Life to give us life. Night and day, He is there. If you really want to grow in love, come back to the Eucharist, come back to that Adoration.”

“Our lives must be woven around the Eucharist…fix your eyes on Him Who is the light; bring your hearts close to His Divine Heart; ask Him to grant you the grace of knowing Him, the love of loving Him, the courage to serve Him. Seek Him fervently.”

“Through Mary the cause of our joy you discover that no where on earth are you more welcomed, no where on earth are you more loved, than by Jesus, living and truly present in the Most Blessed Sacrament…He is really there in Person waiting just for you.”

“We cannot separate our lives from the Eucharist; the moment we do, something breaks. People ask, ‘Where do the sisters get the joy and energy to do what they are doing?’ The Eucharist involves more than just receiving; it also involves satisfying the hunger of Christ. He says, ‘Come to Me.’ He is hungry for souls.”

“It was not until 1973, when we began our daily Holy Hour that our community started to grow and blossom…In our congregation, we used to have adoration once a week for one hour, and then in 1973, we decided to have adoration one hour every day. We have much work to do. Our homes for the sick and dying destitute are full everywhere. And from the time we started having adoration every day, our love for Jesus became more intimate, our love for each other more understanding, our love for the poor more compassionate, and we have doubled the number of vocations. God has blessed us with many wonderful vocations. The time we spend in having our daily audience with God is the most precious part of the whole day.”

“Our hours of adoration will be special hours of reparation for sins, and intercession for the needs of the whole world, exposing the sin-sick and suffering humanity to the healing, sustaining and transforming rays of Jesus, radiating from the Eucharist.”

“Our holy hour is our daily family prayer where we get together and pray the Rosary before the exposed Blessed Sacrament the first half hour, and the second half hour we pray in silence.”

When people asked Mother Teresa how many convents she had she responded “We have 584 tabernacles.”

“When you look at the crucifix, you understand how much Jesus loved you. When you look at the Sacred Host you understand how much Jesus loves you now. This is why you should ask your parish priest to have Perpetual Adoration in your parish. I beg the Blessed Mother to touch the hearts of all parish priests that they may have Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration in their parishes, and that it may spread throughout the entire world.”

“The time you spend with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is the best time you will spend on earth. Each moment that you spend with Jesus will deepen your union with Him and make your soul everlastingly more glorious and beautiful in Heaven, and will help bring about everlasting peace on earth.”

Prayers of Mother Teresa

“O God, we believe You are here. We adore You and love You with our whole heart and soul because You are most worthy of all our love. We desire to love You as the Blessed do in Heaven…Flood our souls with Your spirit and life. Penetrate and possess our whole being utterly, that our lives may only be a radiance of Yours. Shine through us, and be so in us, that every soul we come in contact with may feel Your presence in our soul. Let them look up and see no longer us, but only Jesus!”

The Forgiveness Prayer by Rev. Robert DeGrandis, S.S.J.

Lord Jesus Christ, I ask today to forgive everyone in my life. I know that You will give me strength to forgive and I thank You that you love me more than I love myself and want my happiness more than I desire it for myself.

Lord Jesus, I want to be free from the feelings of resentment, bitterness and unforgiveness toward You for the times I thought You sent death, hardships, financial difficulties, punishments and sickness into our family.

Lord, I forgive myself for my sins, faults and failings. For all that is truly bad in myself or all that I think is bad: I do forgive myself. For any delving into the occult, Ouija boards, horoscopes, séances, fortune telling, lucky charms; for taking Your name in vain; for not worshipping You; for hurting my parents, for getting drunk; for taking dope; for sins against my purity; for adultery, for abortion; for stealing, for lying – I am truly forgiving myself today. Thank You Lord for Your grace at this moment.

I truly forgive my mother. I forgive her for all the times she hurt me, resented me, was angry with me and for all the times she punished me. I forgive her for the times she preferred my brothers and sisters to me. I forgive her for the times she told me I was dumb, ugly, stupid, the worst of the children or that I cost the family a lot of money. For the times she told me I was unwanted, an accident, a mistake or not what she expected. I forgive her.

I forgive my father. I forgive him for any nonsupport, any lack of love, affection or attention. I forgive him for any lack of time, for not giving me his companionship, for his drinking or arguing and fighting with my mother or the other children. For his severe punishments, for desertion, for being away from home, for divorcing my mother or for any running around, I do forgive him.

Lord I extend forgiveness to my sisters and brothers. I forgive those who rejected me, lied about me, hated me, resented me, competed for my parents’ love, those who hurt me, who physically harmed me. For those who were too severe on me, punished me or made my life unpleasant in any way, I do forgive them.

Lord, I forgive my spouse for lack of love, affection, consideration, support, attention, communication, for faults, failings, weaknesses and those other acts or words that hurt or disturb me.

Jesus, I forgive my children for their lack of respect, obedience, love, attention, support, warmth, understanding; their bad habits, falling away from the Church, any bad actions which disturb me.

My God, I forgive my in-laws – mother, father, son or daughter-in-law, sister, and brother-in-law and other relatives by marriage. For their lack of love, words of criticism, thoughts, actions or omissions, which injure and cause pain, I do forgive them.

Please help me to forgive my relatives, my grandmother and grandfather who may have interfered in our family, been possessive of my parents, who may have caused confusion or turned one parent against the other.

Jesus, help me to forgive my co-workers who are disagreeable or make life miserable for me. For those who push their work off on me, gossip about me, won’t cooperate with me, try to take my job. I do forgive them.

My neighbors need to be forgiven, Lord. For all their noise, letting their property run down, not tying up their dogs who run through my yard, not taking in their trash cans, being prejudiced and running down the neighborhood, I do forgive them.

I now forgive my clergyman, my congregation and my church for all their lack of support, pettiness, bad sermons, lack of friendliness, not affirming me as they should, not providing me with inspiration, for not using me in a key position, for not inviting me to serve in a major capacity and for any other hurt they have inflicted – I do forgive them today.

Lord, I forgive all professional people who have hurt me in any way – doctors, nurses, lawyers, policemen, hospital workers. For anything that they did to me, I truly forgive them today.

Lord, I forgive my employer for not paying me enough money, for not appreciating my work, for being unkind and unreasonable with me, for being angry or unfriendly, for not promoting me and for not complimenting me on my work.

Lord, I forgive my schoolteachers and instructors of the past, as well as the present. For those who punished me, humiliated me, insulted me, treated me unjustly, made fun of me, called me dumb or stupid, made me stay after school.

Lord, I forgive my friends who have let me down, lost contact with me, do not support me, were not available when I needed help, borrowed money and did not return it, gossiped about me.

Lord Jesus, I especially pray for the grace of forgiveness for that one person in life who has hurt me the most. I ask to forgive anyone who I consider my greatest enemy, the one who is the hardest to forgive or the one who I said I would never forgive.

Thank You, Jesus, that I am free of the evil of unforgiveness. Let Your Holy Spirit fill me with light and let every dark area of my mind be enlightened. Amen.

Divine Mercy

A Message For Our Times

(Picture of St. Faustina and Jesus of Divine Mercy)

The Humble Instrument

Between 1930 and 1938 Christ appeared to Sister Faustina, a Sister of Mercy in Poland, to re-teach us the story of His love even unto death, and His disappointment in us because of distrust in His Mercy and goodness. Born in a very poor family, Sister Faustina’s life was a routine of everyday chores – tending the door, cooking, sweeping, gardening. Even the closest of her nun-companions never guessed God’s predilection for this simply-educated religious, or knew the wonderful secrets He whispered to her at prayer.

Subsequent History

One day in 1935, Sister Faustina wrote for her spiritual director:

“The day will come when this work, which God so commends, (will be) as though in complete ruin, and suddenly the action of God will come upon the scene with great power which will bear witness to the truth. It will be as a new splendor for the church, though it has been dormant in it from long ago.”

This indeed came to pass. On March 6, 1959, the Holy See, acting on information that was inaccurately presented, prohibited “the spreading of images and writings advocating devotion to the Divine Mercy in the form proposed by Sister Faustina.” As a result, there followed almost twenty years of total silence. Then on April 15, 1978, the Holy See, after a thorough examination of original documents previously unavailable to it, completely reversed its decision and again permitted the devotion. The one man primarily responsible for this reversal of decision was Karol Cardinal Wojtyla, the Archbishop of Sister Faustina’s home diocese of Cracow. On October 16, 1978 he was elevated to the See of Peter as Pope John Paul II. God is indeed mysterious and wondrous in His Ways!

The Apparitions

On February 22, 1931, as Sister Faustina relates the experience:

“I saw Jesus dressed in a white garment. He held one hand raised in blessing and with the other, He was touching the garment at the breast. From under the garment came two rays of light, on red, the other pale.”

As she knelt motionless, immersed in cross currents of joy and fear, Our Lord spoke:

“Paint a picture according to the vision you see and with the inscription: ‘Jesus, I Trust in You.’ I desire that this picture be venerated first in your chapel and then throughout the whole world.”

This apparition of Jesus King of Mercy, repeated itself several times. Her confessor advised her to ask for an explanation of the red and white rays. She did and was instructed:

“The rays on the picture represent the blood and water which gushed forth from the depths of My Mercy when My agonizing Heart was opened on the Cross. The pale rays symbolize the water, which justifies the soul; the red rays represent the blood, which is the life of the soul. These rays shield the soul before the wrath of My Father. Fortunate is he who lives in their shelter, for the just hand of God will never reach Him.”

He then gave her a short prayer and told her to recite it often:

“O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of Mercy for us, I trust in You.”

Sister Faustina looked deep into the Merciful pierced Heart of Christ, and wrote in her diary:

“The Lord permitted me to see the immensity and greatness of His Mercy. If only souls could realize how much God loves them! All comparison, no matter how strong and touching, is only a pale shadow of the reality.”

Jesus confirmed her statement many times, and pleaded for the return of sinners – great sinners. He told Sister:

“Write, the greater the misery the stronger the right to mercy. Summon all souls to confidence in the incomprehensible abyss of My Mercy for I desire to save all. The well of Mercy was opened wide with a lance on the Cross for all souls. I do not exclude anyone.”

Again and again Our Lord came to Sister Faustina and repeated His invitation to sinners, assuring them of His open arms.

On another occasion Christ complained of our own weak, cold love and trust in Him.

“Distrust of souls tears at My bosom. The lack of confidence in chosen souls hurts Me most. Despite My inexhaustible love, they do not trust Me!”

It seems Our Lord had a word, too, for our times. As peace hopes fade, natural and civil disasters threaten, and the whole world continues to be unsettled, His words to Sister Faustina take on a deeper meaning.

“Tell ailing mankind to draw close to My Merciful Heart and I will fill it with peace…mankind will not find solace until it turns with confidence to My Mercy.”

Jesus told Sr. Faustina the various ways be which we can have devotion to His mercy: the Divine Mercy image, the Feast of Mercy to be celebrated on the Sunday after Easter, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, the great hour of Mercy at 3p.m. which is the moment of His death, and spreading devotion to His mercy.

The Image

At the first apparition Our Lord instructed Sister Faustina to paint a picture with the words: ‘JESUS, I TRUST IN YOU.’ At first she tried to sketch it herself. She was no artist and failed. After many trials, someone was found who could and did paint it. Sister Faustina was disappointed, for it did not show Our Lord as He appeared to her – so full of goodness and kindness. But what artist could ever paint such a picture? She complained to Christ, but Sister Lucia of Fatima had the same disappointment when the sculptor tried to portray Our Lady. Our Lord desired the picture to be venerated and attached promises to it:
“I promise that the soul that will venerate this image will not perish. I further promise victory over its enemies already here on earth and especially in the hour of death. I, Myself, shall defend that soul as My own glory.” (48)

Concerning these promises of protection, both spiritual and physical, the important thing is not the picture, but the trust of the soul in God’s promise attached to it. The picture only serves as an instrument to remind the soul to place all its confidence in God and His Mercy – not in itself.

Two Polish Cities Spared

A most unusual aspect of the Mercy Message, is the promise of physical protection, contained in the words:

“I shall preserve the cities and homes in which this picture shall be found.”

One of the main reasons we are able to spread this message today, is because of the indisputable proof God gave to this remarkable promise.

He told Sister Faustina there was coming a new and more terrible war for the world, (the Second World War), and that Poland would suffer much for its sins. But He also told her He would spare those cities where His picture of mercy would be publicly venerated. Only in Cracow and Vilno was official ecclesiastical approval granted to spread the message, and to display a copy of the picture for public veneration - before Poland was invaded by the Nazis in September, 1939.

Sister Faustina died on October 5, 1938. The following year, the Second World War began. Both Cracow (population 650,000) and Vilno (population 400,000) should have been destroyed, or at least badly damaged, like Warsaw and practically every other major Polish city. Yet, many eye-witnesses, who later came to America, testify that although both the Germans and the Russians invaded Poland, and caused frightful destruction everywhere, particularly in Warsaw and the other larger cities, these two were spared, and suffered little or no damage. God had promised to spare those cities, where His picture of mercy was publicly venerated. Since this was done, and the message spread in both these cities, God kept His promise and spared Cracow and Vilno.

However, since God wants His mercy to be spread to everyone, it would seem obvious that He did not make the promises of protection for Poland alone. Perhaps He gave this proof as a sign of the protection He will provide for you and me in the days of His wrath, which He says will one day come upon the world. This does not mean that each home with the Mercy picture will necessarily be

spared physical destruction. But it does mean that God will provide whatever protection is necessary – spiritual or material, as the case may be – according to His Holy Will, for those who trust in His mercy in their homes.

The Chaplet of Mercy

On September 13, 1935, Sister Faustina saw an angel, depicted to her as the executor of God’s Wrath. In his hands were lightning bolts and thunder. She understood the angel was about to visit a certain place on earth and mete out punishment to its inhabitants. Our Divine Saviour had made Sister Faustina’s heart after His own merciful one, and she was sorrowful and begged the angel for mercy. But somehow she realized that her poor prayers were without power to appease the wrath of God. Then suddenly the Holy Trinity was manifested, and at the same time the sister heard these words:

“Eternal Father, I offer you the body and blood, soul and divinity of your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world. For the sake of His sorrowful passion have mercy on us and on the whole world.”

As she repeated the words over and over, the angel was powerless to mete out the punishment. The next day while going into the chapel she heard once again:

“As many times as you enter the chapel, immediately recite the prayer I taught you yesterday.”

She recited it at once and the voice spoke again:

“This prayer is given to appease the Wrath of God. You will recite it for nine days on the usual part of the Rosary (five decades) in the following manner.”

The following day an inner voice taught her to say this prayer on ordinary rosary beads:

“First say one ‘OUR FATHER’, ‘HAIL MARY’ and ‘I BELIEVE’.

Then on the large beads say the following words:

‘ETERNAL FATHER, I OFFER YOU THE BODY AND BLOOD, SOUL AND DIVINITY OF YOUR DEARLY BELOVED SON, OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, IN ATONEMENT FOR OUR SINS AND THOSE OF THE WHOLE WORLD’.

On the smaller beads you are to say the following words:

‘FOR THE SAKE OF HIS SORROWFUL PASSION HAVE MERCY ON US AND ON THE WHOLE WORLD.’

In conclusion you are to say these words three times:
‘HOLY GOD, HOLY MIGHTY ONE, HOLY IMMORTAL ONE, HAVE MERCY ON US AND ON THE WHOLE WORLD.’

Jesus said later to Sister Faustina:

“Say unceasingly this chaplet that I have taught you. Anyone who says it will receive great mercy at the hour of death. Priests will recommend it to sinners as the last hope. Even the most hardened sinner, if he recites this chaplet even once, will receive grace from My infinite mercy. I want the whole world to know My infinite mercy. I want to give unimaginable graces to those who trust in My mercy.”

It is especially appropriate to say the chaplet during the three o’clock hour (recalling the time of Our Lord’s death on the cross). Our Lord asked for special prayer and meditation on His passion during this time.

The Novena

The chaplet may be said at any time, but our Lord specifically told Blessed Faustina to recite it during the nine days before the Feast of Mercy. Our Lord told her: “By this novena, I will grant every possible grace to souls.”

Our Blessed Lord also gave Sister Faustina a Novena to His Mercy. She was to start it on Good Friday, that wonderful day when Christ first revealed how merciful and loving He was by dying for us.

Blessed Faustina received definite instructions on how to make this novena.

“During these nine days I want you to lead souls to the fount of My Mercy, in order that they may draw from it strength, refreshment, and all the graces they need in the trials of their lives, especially in the hour of death. Each day you will lead a different group of souls and immerse them in the sea of my Mercy. Each day you will beseech the Father through My bitter passion for graces for these souls.”

The novena seems to have been given to Sr. Faustina alone because Our Lord did not attach singular promises to it. Therefore, anyone making a novena to the Divine Mercy should include the chaplet of mercy as part of it. Graces are attached to the novena chaplet.

The Feast

This novena can be made at any time, but Our Lord especially wished that it be made beginning Good Friday in preparation for a Feast He was to tell her about: The Feast of His Mercy, which should be celebrated on the first Sunday after Easter.

“My daughter, speak to the world of My inexhaustible mercy. I desire that the Feast be a refuge and a shelter for all souls, especially for poor sinners. The very depths of My Mercy will be opened on that day. I will pour out a sea of graces upon those souls that will approach the fount of My Mercy.

The souls that will go to confession and communion (on that day) will obtain a complete remission of sin and punishment.

Let no souls fear to come to Me, even if its sins be as scarlet. This Feast emerged from the bosom of My Mercy and is founded in the depths of My Mercies. I desire that it be celebrated with great solemnity on the first Sunday after Easter.”

According to this great promise, Jesus is offering all souls a chance for a new “baptism” each year, giving everyone an opportunity to “wipe the slate clean.” Such a soul, taking advantage of this great offer in all sincerity and with proper contrition, dying after receiving Holy Communion, and before committing another sin, would go immediately to Heaven, without any stop in Purgatory – regardless of past life. There seems to be no other meaning to this promise of Our Lord. Such is the unbelievable and little understood tender love and mercy of God for poor sinners.

Church Position

On Sunday, April 30, 2000, Sr. Faustina was declared a saint of the Church by Pope John Paul II at a ceremony in St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City. Moreover, that day he proclaimed the Second Sunday of Easter “Divine Mercy Sunday”.

Significantly, the day chosen for the Canonization and proclamation was the Second Sunday of Easter – the very day Our Lord told Sr. Faustina he wanted established as the Feast of Mercy.

During the homily, the Holy Father spoke of the Divine Mercy message as “addressed above all to those who, afflicted by a particularly harsh trial or crushed by the weight of the sins they committed, have lost all confidence in life and are tempted to give in to despair. To them the gentle face of Christ is offered; those rays from his heart touch them and shine upon them, warm them, show them the way and fill them with hope.”

Exhorting mankind to hasten to Him before it is too late, Our Lord says:

“Write, before I come as the just one, I first open wide the gates of My Mercy. He who does not want to pass through the gates of mercy will have to pass through the gates of justice.”

Then He permitted her to see the enormity of man’s sins. She was frightened at their hideousness, and

asked God how He could suffer such terrible insults.

“I have eternity for the punishment of these. Now I prolong the time of My Mercy. But woe to him who does not recognize the time of My visitation. You are obliged not only to write and proclaim My Mercy, but also to implore graces for sinners, that they, too, may praise My mercy.”

Another time Jesus said:

“My daughter, the flames of mercy burn Me. I desire to pour it out on human souls. O what pain they cause Me when they will not accept it!”

Proclaim His Mercy

Our Blessed Mother appeared to Sister Faustina, too. On the Feast of the Annunciation in 1936, Mary said to her:

“I gave the world a Saviour. You must proclaim His Mercy to it and prepare the world for His Second Coming. He will then come not as a Merciful Saviour but as a Just Judge. It will be a day of horror; resolved to be the day of Justice – the day of the Wrath of God. Angels tremble before it…Speak to souls of this great Mercy, while there is still time. If you remain silent now, you will have to account for a great number of souls on that final day. Fear nothing. Be faithful to the end.”

Now it is up to us to tell sinners about the love and mercy of the Sacred Heart. Our Saviour left us a promise, too, if we would. He said to Sister Faustina,

“I protect, as a mother does a child, the souls that promote the devotion to My Mercy during their entire lifetime; and in the hour of their death I will not be their judge, but their Saviour. In that final hour the soul does not have anything in its defense save My Mercy. Fortunate is the soul that during life immersed itself in the fountain of My Mercy, for justice will not reach it there.”

Speak to the whole world of My Mercy. Let it know how incomprehensible it is. It is a sign of the approaching last days, after which the day of justice will come. While there is still time, let them take refuge in the font of My Mercy.”

Jesus, humbling Himself for our sake, invites all his prodigal sons and daughters – no matter what they have done, nor how many times they have sinned – to “come home” and accept His mercy.

PRAYER FOR THE SALVATION OF THE WORLD

Father, hear our prayers for the salvation of the world. Grant Mercy to all souls that turned away from you. Open their hearts and minds with your light.

Gather your children from the east and the west, from the north and the south. Have mercy O God on those who do not know you. Bring them out of darkness into your light. You are our saving God who leads us in our salvation. Protect us from evil.

Bless and praise you O Lord, hear our prayers and answer us. You, our Savior are the hope of all the ends of the Earth and the distant seas. May your way be known upon Earth; among all nations your salvation.

We put the world in your hands; fill us with your love. Grant us peace through Christ, our Lord. Amen.

PAPAL ADDRESS ON THE ROSARYAS A WEAPON OF PEACE
September 29, 2002 - Castel Gandolfo, Italy

(Picture of Pope with BVM)
Dear Brothers and Sisters!

1. We are already at the threshold of the month of October, which, with the liturgical Memorial of the Blessed Virgin of the Rosary, moves us to rediscover this traditional prayer, which is so simple yet so profound.

The rosary is a contemplative view of the face of Christ carried out, so to speak, through Mary's eyes. Therefore, it is a prayer that is at the very heart of the Gospel, and is in full harmony with the inspiration of the Second Vatican Council and very much in keeping with the indication I gave in the apostolic letter "Novo Millennio Ineunte": It is necessary that the Church "go into the deep" of the new millennium beginning with the contemplation of the face of Christ.

Therefore, I wish to suggest the recitation of the rosary to individuals, to families and to Christian communities. To give force to this request, I am also preparing a document, which will help to rediscover the beauty and depth of this prayer.

2. I wish to entrust once again the great cause of peace to the prayer of the rosary. We are faced with an international situation full of tensions, of incandescent dimensions. In some parts of the world, where the confrontation is stronger--I am thinking in particular of the martyred land of Christ--we can see that, although always necessary, the political attempts are worth little if spirits remain exacerbated and there is no ability to demonstrate a heartfelt disposition to renew the line of dialogue.

But, who can infuse such sentiments, save God alone? It is more necessary than ever that prayers for peace be raised to him throughout the world. Precisely in this perspective, the rosary reveals itself as a particularly appropriate prayer. It constructs peace also because while appealing to God's grace it sows in the one reciting it the seed of good, from which fruits of justice and solidarity in personal and community life can be expected.

I am thinking of nations, but also of families: how much peace would be assured in family relations, if the holy rosary was prayed by the family!

3. (John Paul II then greeted pilgrims in French, English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish and Italian. In English, he said :)

I extend a warm greeting to the English-speaking pilgrims and visitors, and invite you to make the month of October a time of special attention to the recitation of the rosary, the great prayer of intercession to Mary. Upon you and your families I invoke the joy and peace of the Lord.

(Finally, the Pope said in Italian :)

4. The prayer we are about to recite, begins by recalling the Archangel Gabriel’s declaration to the Virgin Mary. Indeed, today is the feast of the holy Archangels Michael, Gabriel and Raphael: May these powerful ministers of God help us to correspond always with generous love to his will.

PRO-LIFE MEDITATIONS ON THE JOYFUL MYSTERIES OF THE ROSARY

(Picture of Our Lady of Guadalupe)

The Annunciation

Mary is troubled by the angel's greeting, yet rejoices to do God's will. Let us pray that those who are troubled by their pregnancy may have the grace to trust in God's will.

The Visitation

John the Baptist leapt for joy in his mother's womb. We pray that people may realize that abortion is not about children who "might" come into the world, but is about children who are already in the world, living and growing in the womb, and are scheduled to be killed.

The Nativity

God Himself was born as a child. The greatness of a person does not depend on size, for the newborn King is very small. Let us pray for an end to prejudice against the tiny babies threatened by abortion.

The Presentation

The Child is presented in the Temple because the Child belongs to God. Children are not the property of their parents, nor of the government. They - as we - belong to God Himself.

The Finding of Jesus in the Temple

The boy Jesus was filled with wisdom, because He is God. Let us pray that all people may see the wisdom of His teachings about the dignity of life, and may understand that this teaching is not an opinion, but the truth.

PROLIFE MEDITATIONS ON THE SORROWFUL MYSTERIES OF THE ROSARY

(Picture of a rosary)

The Agony in the Garden

Let us pray for mothers and fathers who are in agony because they are tempted to abort a child. May they be given the good news that there are alternatives, and may they make use of the help that is available.

The Scourging

As the instruments of those who scourged Him tore Christ's flesh, so the instruments of the abortionists tear the bodies of babies in the womb. Let us pray that abortionists may repent of these acts of child killing.

The Crowning with Thorns

Jesus suffered the pain of thorns in His head, and did so silently. We pray for the mothers and fathers of aborted children. So many of them suffer deep grief and regret over a choice they can never reverse. So many suffer in silence, because others tell them it's no big deal.

The Carrying of the Cross

Jesus was not condemned by the power of wicked people. He was condemned because of the silence of good people. Silence always helps the oppressor, never the victim. Let us pray that we may never be silent about abortion, but rather will clearly speak up to save babies from death.

The Crucifixion

As we ponder the death of Christ, let us remember the many women who have died from so-called "safe, legal" abortions. Let us ask forgiveness and mercy for them. May their memory save other women from making this tragic mistake.

PRO-LIFE MEDITATIONS ON THE GLORIOUS MYSTERIES OF THE ROSARY

(Picture of Our Lady of The Miraculous Medal)

The Resurrection

Christ is risen! By his Resurrection, He has destroyed the power of death, and therefore the power of abortion. The outcome of the battle for life has already been decided: Life is victorious! Let us pray that all prolifers will spread this victory to every segment of our society.

The Ascension

By ascending to the Father's throne, Christ takes our human nature, given to us in the womb, to the heights of heaven. He shows us that human beings are made to be raised to heaven, not thrown in the garbage. Let us pray that the world may learn this truth and reject abortion.

The Descent of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the Advocate: He pleads our cause, for we cannot save ourselves. We pray that He will make us advocates for the babies, who cannot speak or write or vote or protest or even pray.

The Assumption

The Blessed Virgin Mary was taken body and soul into heaven because she is the Mother of God. Mother and child are united. The Assumption reminds us that they belong together. We pray that society will see that it cannot love women while killing their children, and cannot save children without helping their mothers. We pray that people will be touched by the pro-life question, "Why can't we love them both?"

The Coronation

Mary is the Queen of the Universe. The Church teaches that she is the greatest creature, second only to God Himself. The Church defends the dignity of women. We pray that people will understand that to be pro-life means to be pro-woman, and that to be pro-woman demands that we be pro-life.

PRAYERS AND CONSECRATIONS

Picture of BVM holding unborn baby in hand

The Holy Father on Spiritual Adoption of the Unborn. . .

"Please spiritually adopt an unborn baby. Every day 4,500 babies are killed by abortion. They have so little protection; only the hand of God can end this massacre. Prayer is the best weapon to help them - the most effective.

Say this prayer every day for nine months to save a baby's life! A great prayer for life is urgently needed, a prayer which will rise up throughout the world"

MEMORARE

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, we fly to you, O Virgin of Virgins, our Mother; to you we come; before you we stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not our petitions, but in your mercy hear and answer them.

The MAGNIFICAT

(Canticle of Mary)

My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior: Because he has regarded the lowliness of His handmaid; for, behold, henceforth all generations shall call me blessed;

Because He who is mighty has done great things for me and holy is His name.

He has shown might with His arm, He has scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart.

He has put down the mighty from their thrones, and has exalted the lowly.

He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich He has sent away empty.

CONSECRATION OF THE HUMAN RACE

To the SACRED HEART of JESUS Ordered by His Holiness, Pope Pius XI, Dec. 11, 1925. For one fold and One Shepherd.

Double pictures of the Sacred

Heart and Immaculate Heart

Most Sweet Jesus, Redeemer of the human race, look down upon us humbly prostrate before Thee.

We are Thine and Thine we wish to be; but to be more surely united with Thee, behold each one of us freely consecrates himself today to Thy Most Sacred heart.

Many indeed have never known Thee; many, too, despising Thy precepts, have rejected Thee. Have mercy on them all, most merciful Jesus, and draw them to Thy Sacred heart. Be Thou King, O Lord, not only of the faithful who have never forsaken Thee, but also of the prodigal children who have abandoned Thee. Grant that they may quickly return to their Father's house lest they die of wretchedness and hunger.

Be Thou King of those who are deceived by erroneous opinion, or whom discord keeps aloof, and call them back to the harbor of truth and unity of faith, so that soon there may be but one flock and one Shepherd.

Grant, O Lord, to Thy church, assurance of freedom and immunity from harm; give peace and order to all nations, and make the earth resound, from pole to pole with one cry: Praise to the Divine Heart that wrought our salvation; to It be glory and honor forever.
Amen.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. PRAYER for PEACE

Saint Francis of Assisi

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon,
Where there is doubt, faith,
Where there is darkness, light,
And where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may
Not so much seek to be consoled,
As to console;
To be understood, as to understand;
To be loved, as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

PRAYER to the INFANT of PRAGUE

(Picture of the Infant of Prague)

O Child Jesus I have recourse to Thee by Thy Holy Mother. I implore Thee to assist me in this necessity. (her mention your request.) For I firmly believe that thy Divinity can assist me. I confidently hope to obtain thy holy grace. I love Thee with my whole heart and my whole soul. I am heartily sorry for all my sins, and I entreat of Thee, oh good Jesus, to give me strength to overcome them. I made the resolution of never again offending Thee and I resolve to suffer everything, rather than displease Thee. For the love of Thee, oh Divine Child, I will love my neighbor as myself. Oh Jesus, most prayerful Child, I again implore Thee to assist me on this occasion. Grant me the grace of possessing Thee eternally, with Mary and Joseph, and of adoring Thee with the Holy Angels and Saints.
Amen.

Prayer for Life by John Paul II

Mary, bright Dawn of the new world,
Mother of the living, to you do we entrust the cause of life,
look down, O Mother, upon the vast numbers
of babies not allowed to be born,
of the poor whose lives are made difficult,
of men and women who are victims of brutal violence,
of the elderly and the sick killed by indifference or out of misguided mercy.
Grant that all who believe in your Son,
may proclaim the Gospel of life with honesty and love
to the people of our time.
Obtain for them the grace to accept that Gospel
as a gift ever new,
the joy of celebrating it with gratitude
throughout their lives and
the courage to bear witness to it
resolutely, in order to build,
together with all people of good will,
the civilization of truth and love,
to the praise and glory of God,
the Creator and Lover of life.

From the Gospel of Life
--John Paul II

Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration
By Fr. Donald Arsenault

We all know that we are in a mess, in a great turmoil. Society is in a serious crisis. Faith is in a great crisis. We would have to be blind not to see it. When sin is publicly advertised as normal and ‘correct’, and millions of abortions are performed each year, something has gone radically wrong. How did we ever get into this mess?

“The Church and the world have a great need for Eucharistic Adoration.”
--Pope John Paul II
Worship of Idols

To me the answer is very clear and plain; we have put God aside to turn ourselves towards gods and idols of our own making, like materialistic things, pleasures, the cult of the body, thirst for money, addiction to TV, etc. These things have become gods and idols to many. And then, we wonder why we are in such a mess.

Because we have repeated the Old Testament infidelities, and worshipped idols made with our own hands, we are in trouble, in serious trouble. Who is going to save our troubled world? The Savior of the world! Only Jesus can bring true peace to the world. Only God can redirect the course of world history back to the path of peace. “Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth, says the Lord.” (Is 45:22)

Where is our God?
And where is our God? Where is our Savior, Jesus Christ? “Jesus is in heaven for the elect and in the tabernacle for us pilgrims,” St. Peter Julian Yard tells us. As we are not yet in heaven; the only place here on earth where we can be physically present with the bodily presence of Jesus is before the Real Presence either at Mass or reserved in the Tabernacle.

The loss of the sense of the Real Presence is widespread in the Church today, and many do not realize that this central truth of our faith is under much attack. For sure God is everywhere, but He is present in the Blessed Sacrament in a way that is unique, with His Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity, with His beating Heart. Here He is present as both God and man. This presence of Christ in the Sacred Host is called the REAL PRESENCE. Are we aware, do we realize, that the One who created the heavens, earth, and waters, and everything that swells in it, is present among us?

He is available to everyone at any moment of the day or night. Is it not wonderful that we should have our God so close to us as He is? Our faith in the Real Presence of Christ in the Blessed Sacrament is what distinguishes us from the Protestants, what makes us Catholic. This is the belief that countless martyrs have given their life for.

Invitation to a Holy Hour

1) Time for a Holy Hour

Pope Paul VI declared that there would be no renewal in the Church without a fervent Eucharistic renewal. John Paul II has said: “The Church and the world have a great need of Eucharistic adoration. Jesus awaits us in this sacrament of love. Let us be generous with our time in going to meet Him in adoration…May our adoration never cease.”

When we love someone we want to spend much time with them. Can we say that we love Jesus if do not take time to visit Him in the Blessed Sacrament? It is by His continual presence there that He shows us how much he loves us. By being present in HIS Presence, we can show our love for Him.

2) Value of a Holy Hour The value of an hour spent before the Blessed Sacrament is beyond all that we can imagine. This time that you spend with Jesus is more precious than any other time. Mother Teresa has said:

“The best act that we can perform at present, is to spend at least one hour each week before the exposed Blessed Sacrament.” And she adds: “You cannot be like Jesus unless you spend time with Jesus. You cannot see Jesus in others unless you see Him in the Sacrament of Love.”

3) Reparation
Jesus needs generous souls to love Him and console Him for the many sins and crimes committed in the world. The hour that you will spend with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is very precious to Him, and makes reparation for innumerable sins. He needs this gift of your hour to save souls.

Every hour is blessed, but those which involve the most sacrifice are the most blessed. Sacrifice is the language of love. The very first holy hour took place during the middle of the night, when Christ made His sad complaint to Peter, James and John: “So, could you not watch with me one hour?” The Apostles were tired and sleepy but it was at that time that Jesus needed the consolation of their presence. Even though you may find it difficult to get up in the middle of the night, Jesus is addressing to you the very same invitation that he addressed to His Apostles.

He saw all those, down through the ages, who would keep watch with Him for one hour. Jesus saw you. He saw your generosity, your sacrifice and the love that you would show Him, and it was this that consoled Him in His Agony.

I particularly call on retired people, seniors and those without work, who may be able to catch up on their sleep during the day. Come, be generous! And rest assured that Jesus will never be outdone in generosity, never. Somehow, the night hours are the easiest to do. Nobody has any appointments then and neither has anyone ever been harmed on the way to or from adoration at night.

To those who hesitate in committing themselves to one hour a week, I would like to offer a challenge. Try it three times first. Give it a try, and if you go with good intentions and faith, you will see a change.

Fruits of Eucharistic Adoration

1) Personal Benefits

You will experience a peace of heart that the world cannot give, a peace that only Jesus can give you. In our noisy and agitated world, there is great need to experience this peace. It will give you strength to face the difficulties of life and courage to take up your cross daily.

You will discover the love that Jesus has for you personally. It is at the feet of Jesus that you will experience in a real way that Jesus loves you for who you are, despite your sins and your miseries. There you will find out that you are not alone in your loneliness. When you feel lonely, Jesus will reveal to you that the only real loneliness is to be without Him. Do we not remember the second question of the Catechism? ‘Why did God create you? To know Him, to love Him, to serve Him and be happy with Him for all eternity.’ In other words the feeling of loneliness is an unconscious desire to be with God, from whom we came.

I know from the testimony of others as well as from personal experience, that there is no better place than in the presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, to present our requests and express our needs.

People who become involved in Eucharistic adoration often have surprisingly positive things to say about it. A lady in Vancouver who was ill, was hesitant to sign up for her perpetual Holy Hour, then consented to being a spare. Eventually she offered her holy hour on a perpetual basis and now says that one hour in not enough. Another says: “My holy hour is a must. That’s when I get my priorities straight, at the feet of Jesus.”

2) Vocational Fruits
Here too, young people can discover their calling and find the strength to say “yes.” Seminary figures indicate that parishes with perpetual adoration are actually producing more vocations than parishes without perpetual adoration. If we want young people to come to church out of conviction, we need to bring them to the Blessed Sacrament, where the radiance of Christ’s love can melt their hearts.

Pope John Paul II:

“I urge priests, religious, and lay people to continue to redouble their efforts to teach the younger generations the meaning and value of Eucharistic adoration and devotion. How will young people be able to know the Lord if they are not introduced to the mystery of His Presence?”

3) Parish Effects
Priests who have established perpetual adoration in their parishes, come out very strongly with the statement that their parish has been transformed at every level. I know of a priest in Toronto whose daily Mass attendance rose from around 25 to over 200, because of perpetual adoration. Another priest wrote recently that he was both astonished and inspired by the success of perpetual adoration in his parish. Several parishioners said to him: “It is the greatest thing you could have given us.”

Conclusion

Jesus gives us 24 hours a day, 168 hours a week. Out of those 168 hours, He is inviting us to spend one single hour with Him, one hour just for Him…will you say ‘yes’ to His invitation?

Many stores and supermarkets are open 24 hours a day to meet people’s material needs. Your parish is willing to offer you similar service for your spiritual needs, to all of you, whatever hours or shifts you work. By having adoration around the clock, no one is excluded. The advantage, the really great advantage, is that you can come to the chapel at any time of the day or night, KNOWING that the chapel door will be open, that you will find Jesus there and can open your heart to Him.

Jesus is asking you for an hour but, in return, he wants to give you so much joy, peace, and an outpouring of grace to transform you. God is inviting you to volunteer your time so that the miracle of perpetual adoration can take place in your parish. So that whatever you are doing in the day, or when you wake up during the night, you will know that someone is praying before the Blessed Sacrament in your parish church.

Closing Prayer

Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, Mother and first Tabernacle of our Lord, perfect adorer of the Most Holy Eucharist, help us to hear His call now and to respond with your generosity.
Amen.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE PRAYER

Heavenly Father, I love You, I praise You, and I worship You. I thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Who won victory over sin and death for my salvation. I thank You for sending your Holy SpiritWho empowers me, guides me, and leads me into fullness of life. I thank You for Mary my Heavenly Mother, who intercedes with the holy angels and saints for me.

Lord Jesus Christ, I place myself at the foot of your cross and ask You to cover me with your Precious Blood which pours forth from your Most Sacred Heart and Your Most Holy wounds. Cleanse me, my Jesus, in the living water that flows from Your Heart. I ask you to surround me, Lord Jesus, with Your Holy Light.

Heavenly Father, let the healing waters of my baptism now flow back through the maternal and paternal generations to purify my family line of satan and sin. I come before You, Father, and ask forgiveness for myself, my relatives and my ancestors, for any calling upon powers that set themselves up in opposition to you or that do not offer true honor to Jesus Christ. In Jesus' Holy Name, I now reclaim any territory that was handed over to satan and place it under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

By the power of Your Holy Spirit, reveal to me, Father, any people I need to forgive and any areas of unconfessed sin. Reveal aspects of my life that are not pleasing to you, Father, ways that have given or could give satan a foothold in my life. Father, I give to You any unforgiveness; I give to You my sins; and I give to You all ways that satan has a hold of my life. Thank you Father for these revelations. Thank You, for Your forgiveness and Your love.

Lord Jesus, in Your Holy Name, I bind all evil spirits of the air, water, ground, underground, and netherworld. I further bind, in Jesus' Name, any and all emissaries of the satanic headquarters and claim the Precious Blood of Jesus on the air, atmosphere, water, ground and their fruits around us, the underground and the netherworld below.

Heavenly Father, allow Your Son Jesus to come now with the Holy Spirit, the Blessed Virgin Mary, the holy angels and the saints to protect me from all harm and to keep all evil spirits from taking revenge on me in any way.

(Repeat the following sentence three times: once in honor of the Father, once in honor of the Son, and once in honor of the Holy Spirit.)

In the Holy Name of Jesus, I seal myself, my relatives, this room (place, home, church, car, plane, etc. . . .), and all sources of supply in the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ.

(To break and dissolve all satanic seals, repeat the following paragraph three times in honor of the Holy Trinity because satanic seals are placed three times to blaspheme the Holy Trinity.)

In the Holy Name of Jesus, I break and dissolve any and all curses, hexes, spells, snares, traps, lies, obstacles, deceptions, diversions, spiritual influences, evil wishes, evil desires, hereditary seals, known and unknown, and every dysfunction and disease from any source including my mistakes and sins. Facts about fasting brought to light in Medjugorje by Our Lady

Fasting is an armament, as Our Lady calls it, the "arms" in which to destroy
Satan's power in your life.

There are 26 main statements Our Lady has told us about fasting. The facts
about fasting are as follows: *

*(Page numbers are given from the book "Words from Heaven, Messages of Our
lady from Medjugorje",the 7th edition, if you wish to read the whole message. It is the most
authoritative book on the messages of Medjugorje.

Confession, sins of the past are forgiven, but healing from life-long vice or memories that Satan uses
